NUU & Avalanche
A more UNITED community!!!
FAQ
-
Why partner at all?
NUU's mission is to provide innovative player development opportunities in a UNITED culture through player, coach & parent collaboration. With that mission in mind, collaborating with the Avalanche organization helps us achieve our core value of providing programs and opportunities to help players reach their full potential. We want to work together for the benefit of the kids in our club, and this is a wonderful opportunity to accomplish that.

When will things change?
Over the last few months the leadership from both clubs have been meeting to discuss how things will move forward. Effective immediately, all coaches and member will start working together. There won’t been an immediate impact on teams, fees, etc. until tryouts in May/June 2024.
-
What about uniforms?
We know that the two clubs are on different uniform cycles. Therefore, the teams will continue to wear their current kit. When NUU kits cycle in June 2025 we will make the switch. If a player is selected for an NUU team at tryouts and only has a Avalanche kit they will need to purchase an NUU uniform and visa versa.
We encourage everyone to use the Northern Utah Soccer Yard Sale Facebook page to buy, sell and trade uniforms, and other soccer equipment. -
How will this affect teams?
There will be no changes for the Spring season.
Both organizations have the “player first” mindset. Combining recourses enables the coaches to collaboratively place every player on a team that suits their levels of ambition and ability.
As tryouts approach, each player will be informed as to what team they are projected to play on next year so they can prepare for an upcoming changes if necessary. Most current players will be invited to register for a team prior to tryouts. -
