ECNL-RL

The ECNL created the ECNL Regional Leagues (ECNL-RL) as an important platform addition for players and clubs to fuel the development of their players and to provide a proving ground in competition.

We are proud to announce that NUU will be joining ECNL-RL (Girls) from U13 and above age groups for the 2024 season and beyond. NUU is one of four Utah soccer organizations to be accepted to participate in the ECNL-RL.

ECNL-RL will be replacing our existing YPL league for our Girls Royalty teams. YPL & DCL will still be a part of the club pathway for our Futures team U12-U19 age groups that are seeking more than the Utah state league.

We believe that ECNL-RL will allow us to streamline the pathway for our player advancement within the club. Aligning with an exclusive league like ECNL-RL will continue to create a target-rich environment for college placement. Adding ECNL-RL to our pathway will help with passing players between the Avalanche ECNL and NUU ECNL-RL teams due to both leagues being under the same umbrella.

The ECNL-RL platform has been growing significantly since 2021, providing additional resources and college showcase competitions to more players, coaches, and clubs around the country.
