Player Development Opportunities within the Club
-
Step 1) A player will need to text the coach of the team that they want to train with and ask if they can attend.
Step 2) The coach that receives the request will communicate with the players head coach about the needs of the player and confirm that the environment is good for the players development.
Step 3) Both coaches will approve the attendance of the player and confirm, time, location, what to wear (details)
Step 4) Both coaches will discuss the players needs and let the player know if the player should continue to seek out future opportunities. The players development interest and health are the discussion points.
Note: Coaches may decline for a specific training session due to the topic, number of players for the session or other reasons, but being declined should not be a deterrent from asking in the future. -
To allow players seeking more training, whether that is lower level or higher level, within the club to have access to more training, games or event (tournaments).

Northern Utah United understands that each player has a different level of ambition, man of which want additional training and game opportunities. It is our goal to have an inclusive environment that welcomes players to request to attend training sessions with other coaches within NUU. Having access to team schedules and coaches contact information will allow players to train with other coaches/teams.
