5v5 Leagues

On Friday nights during the winter, NUU will host the 5v5 RISE league. The 5v5 RISE league is like no other gaming league we have ever seen. Each week players will be matched up with 4 different players, each varying in levels of play. Each week your coach will also change. You will play three 14 minute games in one hour and play each position for at least one half (7 minutes).

Who should play in the 5v5 RISE league?
-2017 birth year Destination graduates.
-Current NUU players born in 2016.
-Current NUU players born in 2015 who are listed as navy or white by their coaches.

This league will play on Fridays with kickoff times of 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM or 7:30 PM.

Each hour will have different level player in it.
Tier 1: Most Experienced (5:30 or 7:30 P.M.)
Tier 2: Experienced (5:30 or 7:30 P.M.)
Tier 3: Least Experienced (6:30 P.M.)

By separating players into three groups, the 5v5 RISE league provides each player with the chance to play in an environment that will help them become more confident and RISE as leaders in the groups. This format allows players to become more familiar with spacing, positions, and playing within a free flowing soccer environment.
