Sterling Training sessions are designed specifically for the needs of the individuals on a team. It is more technical and game based training along with mentoring from NUU Directors .
The objective is to provide examples of effective training activities while mentoring the coaches and challenging the players in a way that can improve their ability to contribute more effectively on game days.
Coaches seeking new ideas, or wanting some direction, are strongly encouraged to sign their team up for Sterling Training.

The Sterling Program, led by Director of Coaching Jessica Evanson, offers comprehensive training for teams under the Sterling and Royalty categories.
The program focuses on improving technical, tactical, and physical abilities, while also emphasizing leadership development and training session creation for the coaching staff.
Teams are responsible for providing training locations and covering associated costs. The program has expanded its coaching staff to meet the anticipated increase in demand, with coaches committed to implementing modern soccer methodologies learned in recent courses.
Prior to the start of the program, staff members will meet with each team's coaching staff to create a customized plan. Training sessions can be held during the off-season or in-season, depending on the team's preference.
Various training packages are available, offering 5-18 sessions per year. Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes, depending on field availability.
